Is there any fast, simple way I've missed to toggle or force Google or Microsoft IME to only show suggestions for exactly what I've typed so far? I'm still early on so maybe this isn't an issue later or I'm using them weird but for example...trying to look up a single kanji in a dictionary app, and even knowing the reading sometimes the suggestion list gets so flooded with entire words and phrases that happen to start with that reading that it takes forever scrolling through them all to find it. I mean in most dictionaries I could just search for it by reading but its still incredibly annoying to me.

I don't want to completely or permanently disable the suggestions, just wonder if I've missed something about how the IMEs work
