No, it was not. I was a convert, and had experience from an early age growing up in Sin City. I had been with girls/women before my conversion, and mission. The first girl I slept with was Mormon in middle school. I converted after high school but also dated other Mormon girls in HS some did more than others but all did more than they were supposed to. Once I joined I was a TBM and trying to be good too but still had those experiences. I think some of the really goody goody ones in college were not attracted to someone with experience in that area so they moved on quickly so that left the curious ones I guess. There were a few girls in college who liked to play with fire, I will just say that. Some girls went farther than others, some were pretty goody goody and did not do more than kiss but almost all did more than the church said would be ok, clothes off etc... even at BYU there were some who would push it.

They ALL had major guilt and sexual hang ups though either way. The way the church teaches the girls to feel is not healthy. I would say most would not have sex, there were a few I could have prob talked into it but I was also feeling guilty when it went too far and I was trying to be good (had to be worthy to go on a mission after all)So BC I was trying to be good, be worthy etc..my sex life took a break for a few years after getting off to a pretty good start. After my mission I picked up somewhere where I left. I did date a couple of divorced women and one who had a kid, they were up for anything. I met my wife several months after my mission. I My wife was a virgin when we got married 11 months later, that was a long 11 months. I don't regret that either, but she wishes we would have done it before the wedding and before the honeymoon BC she said it was hard to go from "don't do it! don't do it! don't do it!", to "OK kids go have fun!"
