What are common themes in your dreams?

Bugs, specifically spiders and beetles.

Whenever I'm in that weird state between wakefulness and sleep, there are always bugs crawling on the walls. It happens so often I don't even bother to check if they're real or not.

Whenever there's something supernatural going on, it's always caused by bugs. Among other things, superpowers granted by sentient parasitic space aliens is very popular. Even the one time I had sleep paralysis involved an elephant beetle crawling down my throat.

It's odd because I've never really been afraid of bugs, nor am I particularly interested in them. My house isn't bug infested so I don't spend a lot of time watching them or thinking about them, and even then the most prominent bugs where I live are bees and ants.
