I completely agree with you about the people who want to get up and leave. Using your privilege to up and leave when things don’t go your way isn’t the best of looks when the people who are most vulnerable and affected are being left behind.

People are assuming Roe v Wade is gone the second her replacement is confirmed. Unless it’s Amy Coney Barrett (and even then...), and unless a case actually reaches the court, not much changes. And even if that happens, let’s not forget two GOP appointees voted to expand LGBTQ rights just this year. Not saying there’s nothing to be worried about, but the alarmism like shutting down the country is a bit over the top.
