What did you accomplish on the golf course this weekend?

Spent the last month practicing chips in the back yard. Got some new wedges and have about 50 practice balls. I hit all those balls at least once a day, if not 2-3 times. So up to 150 practice chips a day. Even stopped off at the range on my way home from work on Thursday and practiced just chipping.

Point being, I've been working on my short game and I'm getting much, much better at it.

Went out on the course today with 3 buddies. One hole, I'm about 20 feet off the green. I chip fat THREE times to get it on the green.

Then I did it again on another hole. Three fat chips. I've spent dozens of hours practicing my short game in the last month and I'm somehow worse. This sport fucking baffles me.
