I slowly realized I had feelings for a female friend I had gotten close to, and kind of hinted at it (So I thought) without much success. Had dinner with her and put it all out there. The next time we happened to see each other, she completely botched it and embarrassed the shit out of me on my birthday. We didn't speak for 6 months. After we did talk over text, she slowly stopped returning my text messages and she doesn't exactly seem enthusiastic about reestablishing contact with me. At this point, I don't think we've spoken in a about a year and I don't anticipate that we will. I really don't give a shit about any of it anymore and it doesn't even matter, as I am barely even the same person I was back then anyway. (New hobbies, better job, healthier lifestyle, tons of attention from women). Oh well. Her loss. So it goes.
