Met a girl on Diablo 2 in freshman year and we played together/chatted for 2 years. Then we video chatted a couple times. She lives in Miami.

During summer of junior year, my friends and I (we were all 16) planned to go to Universal Orlando for a week. Asked the girl if she wanted to meet up. She said she was gonna be in Tampa to visit University of Tampa and we planned to meet up there.

So after 2 days with friends, doing all the parks I wanted to do at Universal, I hopped on a Universal shuttle, transferred to a city bus, got to the sketchiest fucking bus terminal in Orlando... lots of crackheads and meth addicts, hopped on a Greyhound, got to the Tampa bus station, hopped on another public bus, got to U Tampa.

We met up, and grabbed a bite, and explored the city together. Didn't skip a beat from being online, we were getting along great.

Hadn't thought things through... I didn't have any clothes with me, no plan to get back to my friends, nothing. Stupid. So I was planning to hop back on the Greyhound but she said I could crash at her hotel with her.

Neither of us were really planning on it, but one thing led to another, and we lost our virginity that night. We spent the next two days together, explored the city, and had a LOT of terrible sex.

She had to go home after that.

Hopped back on a Greyhound, took 1589712987 busses, and finally got back to the Universal resort.

I was down $400 by this point, which was pretty much my entire savings. Worth it.

It's been 13 years and those friends still have no idea where I disappeared to for 3 days. And they still ask.
