What is a lolicon? And is it ok to be a lolicon?

I understand what you are saying. Anyone with a right mind knows that sexualizing young children is point blank wrong!!! Unfortunately, that's not how it goes in fiction. Fiction is a different beast. Lolita. Beasitality. Pedophilia. Age gap relationships. Genocide. Rape. There are books upon books upon manga upon anime all depicting this. Some have absolutely no repercussions for the main characters who do these things, and get away with it. Some point blank defend it (like Redo of Healer or Mushoku Tensei, both which has caused tremendous controversy in the anime community).

However, I do admit there is def various levels of taboo, pedophilia and lolita, I think being the absolute worst in society, and for good reason!!! Usually in fiction, I rarely see cases defending these things, so that's good. When you go to animated hentai, all sorts of taboo shit is there, and Lolita is quite common.

But anyways, I am going to have to stand by saying that fiction is fiction, and anything goes. Many people read shit that are taboo for the sake of it being taboo. Not necessarily because they are bad people. Many people who watch anime and manga actually understand the difference between reality and fiction, better than most. And many people who like "loli" type characters, actually like "moe" or "2D cuteness" and aren't pedophiles. I don't think it's fair to assume that the author who made that fiction, and the people who consume it are bad people. It's not so black and white.

Issues occur, and I must emphasize this, when people collude fiction and reality. The minute you equate fiction and reality with taboo topics, that's when you need to seek outside help for sure.
