What made you finally realize you were actually addicted to “X”, and how did you handle that moment?

I'm addicted to dopamine. I've never done hard or soft drugs nor needed to do it but I am not functional if I don't get high at least once a day.

Exercise, jerking off excessively, throwing up food just to eat it again (bulimia), some are healthy and some are very unhealthy paths towards a dopamine release.

My best suggestion to anyone dealing with the same issues is to do the exercise and even stretching releases dopamine. Caffeinated beverages are good appetite suppressants, and don't keep your cupboard stocked with anything too good you can't help yourself with. It's not healthy to eat an entire box of granola bars after you've already eaten lunch with just one of them in it.
