Honest to god, I can take all the abuse from people on the street from assaults to name calling. What I cannot take is the Muslim Ban. My brain broke at the idea, and the fact, auntie can't come over here for Nowruz. Like, what? I was scared to leave the country since I am an Iranian citizen (who never bothered to fill out the paperwork yet), and didn't want to not be allowed back in. My husband did a job hunt recently and had to sign paperwork he isn't a citizen of Iran (or North Korea). It makes no sense since so many Persians work in tech. He said no cause in America we're not, though the moment we land in Iran we are regardless of not having paperwork because of our Persian names giving it away.

I get the ignorance from random asshole. It's custom in the US for every group to be abused. I can't take the legal bullshit. I hate this, and that stupid mother fucking ban is active again.
