What makes you feel dumb?

My wife and I are currently going through similar. We have a son with cerebral palsy and then he and our daughter were diagnosed with autism this year (well he was diagnosed and we should have all of the reports for her diagnosis next month). Even just the process of getting the diagnosis was an ordeal and then there's managing therapy along with all of the difficulties which come with autism.

We feel like terrible parents every day. Especially when we compare our family to those of friends who have children. Their homes are so much cleaner and their kids so much better behaved.

We know we're not playing on the easy setting here but it's still hard to not feel like crap.
