What’s a hill you’re willing to die on every time?

If you accept that being gay, straight, or bi isn't a choice, then you must accept being trans isn't a choice, because it simply isn't. Again, none of that is up for debate.

No, because being gay, bi, or straight is a preference. You like what you like. Can't just turn it on or off.

In regards to trans-genders/sexuals, there are plenty of cases where trans people regret going through with the process. How come? One of my many guesses is because their FEELINGS changed. Probably why they aren't really considered a trans UNTIL there's an actual transition lol. Reiterating my initial point, you literally have to change your sex/gender to be a trans. It's even in the word: 'TRANS-gender', 'TRANS-sexual'. Like come on, what are we even talking about? Conversations surrounding LGBTQ+ and identity politics are already convoluted as it is and statements like yours just muddy the waters even further. Unnecessarily, I'll add. But I digress.

You believe its not up for debate and I agree, but for very different reasons. You're just strongly convicted in your belief in that "trans isn't a choice" when it clearly is. Just because you believe the former doesn't make it so.

So yeah, this shouldn't be a "debate". But since people love to convolute and change clearly defined terms so it can fit into their views, here we are.

And now I'm gone.

And with that, I wish you the best.
