Serbian medieval kinf Milutin I married a Greek princess. He was in his 50s. She was a child. He also raped her and messed her up down there. As a teen she tried to escape and become a nun but her brothers found her and brought her back.

He also blinded his won son (from his other wife) Stefan for rebelling after Milutin promised him some territories but then was like nah.

None of this about Milutin is ever mentioned in history books. Even his own hagiogrpahy (Serbs wrote these for rulers too) is all bull. The church served the state anyways.

That same Stefan ended up murdered by his own son Dušan, later known as Dušan the Mighty, the only Serbian emperor.
