What is something that you are NEVER FUCKING BUYING AGAIN?

Err, you arn't quoting me but used quotes in reply to my post? Not sure where you're going with that.

So you've worked with two carriers directly, but no manufacturers? I've worked for Rogers, Virgin, Bell, and Fido for carriers, and am currently employed by whats called an "Authorized Apple Service Provider". I have plenty of experience. You have a heavy bias.
Hell, I don't even have an Apple product, the closest fruit-related computer is my RaspberryPi. Not sure why you assume I'm some rabid fanboy for knowing my job.

I get it, you hate Apple. When 4/10 people use an iPhone as their smartphone of choice, you'll see statistical bias when handling repairs for your carrier.

The batteries are a standard Lithium Ion cell. They can start to fail out of the box. Have a shit battery? Contact the manufacturer. No phones available here are covered past one year without purchasing an extended warranty. That said, you can contact the manufacturer and get an exception.
Many iPhone 5 absolutely had a battery fault in their production line though, hopefully anyone you told that it was oow heard about this and checked eligibility. Like all apple-recalls, the customer would also get a refund for any repairs paid out-of-pocket. I agree that it's bad that it wasn't addressed sooner. Poor QA right there.

I live in BC. It rains almost every day. Rain might trip the dock connector's LCI into a "lighter" colour. But there is no way for the LCIs to all fully trip unless the phone is submerged for more than a moment. It's not a sponge. Electronics don't magically "absorb" water/liquid through it's components. If they did I'd have to replace the cat's water dish by now. Damn you Apple, ruining my cat's water!

Apple and Corning (Gorilla Glass) have been working together for years. Hell, they (corning) even said that over 70% of breakages were caused by sharp drops from over 1meter onto the corner of the phone. Neither tech giant was consistently handling that. The newest iPhones (6/6+) haven't been confirmed on what tech they use for the glass. It's not sapphire (due to costs), and it's speculated to be Gorilla Glass 3 if I remember correctly.

doj found several publishers at fault for fixing prices. If you read anything about it, publishers would charge more on the non-apple stores in order to increase the iBook market share.
Majority of amazon books are not through five publishers, so blame Kindle owners for being willing to pay top-dollar. How dare my own grandmother pay $4.99 for a book. That's unreasonable grams!

There are a LOT of free music streaming services. If any shut down, it isn't because of Apple. It would more-likely be record companies going after any service that allows "offline listening". I imagine allow people to listen and download licensed music, without paying in some form, is a nice legal grey-area.

Personally, I think we should go after apple for global warming.
Also my coffee maker should have SIRI so I don't need get up to brew coffee.
