I was kicked out of a speed dating event before it started.

One of the local hobby shops tried doing a speed dating event because enough people brought it up. I signed in about a half hour before it started and sat down at a table near the far wall and read speed dating tips. I was the first person to show up, and I know I didn't talk to any one and I know I didn't look at any one. After a few minutes, one of the people who ran the event came up to me and asked me to leave because I was creeping everyone out, even though I know I didn't interact or look at any one.

I stopped asking what went wrong, because no one believed me that I know I didn't interact with anyone.
