I've had some really weird experience with cats before. Seriously. They've stalked me twice. I had to protect my mom from a cat that wanted to attack her.

That was in the 70's. I've never had problems since then, and have owned a lot of cats since then. Until recently.

About a week ago I had to put my cat down. He was old and was suffering and it was his time. A few days later I had a nightmare that the cat came back to haunt me.

So, the next day I'm sitting on the porch with a neighbor. I saw a cat, that I had never touched before or been close to, come running down the sidewalk full tilt. It ran up the steps, onto the porch, walked straight up to me and started rubbing itself against my leg. Isn't that crazy? I mean, I've had cats as pets over the years, and of course a lot of my neighbors have been cat owners too.

I've -never- seen a cat act that way. SINCE the cats in the fricken' 70's that ended up stalking me.
