What to see when it's so damn cold when visiting?

Some of the exhibits - the dinosaurs particularly - are a bit musty

The dinosaurs have been redone and were, frankly, the best bit I saw. Finding the signs talking about 'Rhodesia' and 'negroes'... not so much. On the other hand, at least someone made the effort of writing an actually researched sign that probably wasn't offensive when they wrote it, which is more than can be said for any of the Native American exhibits, which feature either no explanation whatsoever or century old fantasizing about cultures the writer clearly knew nothing about.

The contrast with, say, the Field Museum in Chicago, which has made some effort to at least talk to the people whose cultural objects they spuriously acquired a century ago, is not good.
