What was the worst shopping experience you’ve ever had?

I was at a high end kitchen goods store and I was followed around by two sales clerks who were whispering about how I was going to steal something. Every item that I was going to put in my basket, they took from me and brought to the counter, complaining among themselves about how I was going to just going to make them put it all back when it came to pay. I finished shopping and paid. They check every bill I paid with to make sure it wasn't counterfeit. They followed me to the door as I left to make sure I wouldn't steal anything on the way out. I've never shoplifted anything before, but I make people uneasy in gentrified towns. It's neither been the first nor the last time I've been viewed with suspicion from the store clerks, however this was the boldest they've ever been about it. I've never been back.
