What is your stance on Nike choosing Colin Kaepernick for their new campaign and why?

1) American football is only big in the US and viewership supposedly is dropping even before Kaepernick. 2) Nike is a global company. Sales outside of the US are greater than those inside of it. 3) I could care less about the NFL controversy. What has me upset is that this is even a thing. 4) No one ever made history by being polite, which Colin says he was trying to do by kneeling instead of just sitting or showing up after the anthem. Your opinion of that may vary. 5) In the end American football is nothing to get into a tizzy over. It's a fucking game. People are getting upset over this when they should be caring about their local elections, poor educational system, and things that really matter. Not a debate on symbols. 6) If a player were a Jehovah's Witness and didn't appear for the anthem would the NFL be losing their mind over that? 7) Who inflames this more: politicians, the media, social sites, bots?
