Met a guy on tinder. He was pretty funny, we had a good conversation, so we set a time to meet at a bar in a neighborhood close to both of us.

I show up on time and sit at the bar, 10 mins go by. He shows up late. Eh, shit happens, wish he woulda said something but whatever.

He sits down next to me, we do our greetings, and then he asks the bartender, "what's your cheapest beer?"

Bartender rolls his eyes a bit (so do I) and says "well, for $2.50 you could get [x shitty beer], but for $3.50 you could get something decent."

Date orders the $2.50 shitty beer. Weird, but maybe that's his thing.

Then he asks me what I do for a living. I tell him a little bit about my job. He interrupts and says, "Wow, it must be really nice to have a job." Then rants for 20 minutes about how he's unemployed and it sucks and he can't do anything fun.

I'm not going to judge someone for is attitude was just such a turnoff, so I'm pretty over this date now--just gonna finish my drink and get out of there.

We start talking about TV shows, and we do have a bunch of those in common, so I survive the next 20 minutes. But then when I finish my beer, he chugs the rest of his quick and asks, "wanna get out of here?"

Not so much.
