What's an opinion you have that you feel alone on having?

That scandals or "scandals" alone will not only not bring Trump down, they will leave him either unscathed or he will be able to successfully spin it to his base that it makes him a better person to be president.

This is not the election and it's no longer a popularity contest. It doesn't matter if every single non-Republican thinks he is dangerous and a criminal, if his approval rating with them is 0%. His approval rating with Republicans is still 90% and they control the government, and only they can hold him accountable.

The Republicans have now shown that they are not willing go against Trump or hold him accountable and will fight efforts to do so. Trump's base support remains extremely strong and the Republican legislators cannot afford to alienate them, and they seem every easy to alienate. Do you read the comments they leave (almost always the most popular) on the Wall Street Journal articles? WSJ is a straight up-and-down Republican paper and the Trump supporters just skewer the articles as fake news and the authors for colluding with libtards.

All the lefties around me are in round-the-clock party/misery mode as each mini or mega scandal breaks and then nothing happens. People forget that it took over a year to get to Nixon for Watergate and it was when the Congress was majority Democrat and he was being charged is a felony. And Congress didn't even succeed in bringing him down, he just resigned so that Ford could give him a presidential pardon.

We made the same mistake during the election, the idea that this idiotic, semi-literate, lying, exaggerating, ill-mannered, buffoon could be president was just beyond our imagination. We thought he would just disappear in a cloud of self-destructive Trumpiness. But it didn't happen then and it won't happen now.
