I went to PAX melbourne and the convention center there is connected to a hilton hotel. I stayed at the hilton but it is a bit wanky. They had cars in the lobby, people wearing cocktail dresses/suits in the middle of the day, people calling you sir etc. It was really uncomfortable. So most of the time I avoided the main lobby and just entered/exited via the first floor that connects to PAX.

One day I went out to buy lunch and decided to bring it back to my room to eat so I had to walk through the lobby. I'm already feeling out of place and i'm not even sure if we are allowed to bring food in, so my coping mechanism is to death stare everyone. So I'm walking through the lobby with my lunch in a bag, death staring all the staff and people there.

I get to the elevators and it's a huge relief. I go to my room and open up my lunch but all my fries are mising. Then i notice that the juice from the burger has made a hole in the bottom of the paper bag with my lunch. I peek out into the hallway and see a trail of fries leading back to the elevator.

I was probably staring down an entire lobby of people as I left a trail of fries and burger juice, all over their red carpet and main lobby.
