What's a relatively lesser known/unknown band whose songs have a respectable position on your current playlist?

Because Europe is underrepresented here:

Caro Emerald is a Dutch singer/songwriter, mostly famous for jazzy songs you can dance to. "Night Like This" is a pretty big song of hers, for good reason, and I personally love "Excuse my French," which is not that well known.

Kovacs is also Dutch, she does dark pop songs, her biggest hit is "My love" and a personal recommendation would be "Black Spider."

Kadebostany are Belgian I believe, they do... Pop, I guess, but with a lot of brass. Their most recent big hit is "Mind if I Stay," really catchy song, but I personally prefer their former singer, so I'd recommend "Walking with a Ghost," even though it's a pretty weird song and not completely representative of their music.

And back to America, Eliza Rickman is just an incredible singer and songwriter. I guess the genre would be folk pop, although always with a dark and often creepy vibe. Her only relatively famous track is "Pretty Little Head," as it is also the weather in Welcome to Night Vale, episode #45. I'd also recommend "Devil's Flesh and Bones," "Through and Aquarium," and "Cinnamon Bone", all from her album "O, You Sinners"
