In my dream a bunch of states voted to make trump president again and as soon as he was in office Russia fucking nuked DC and everything was destroyed but the people were still alive, I was with my parents at first in the jungle with other survivors, we found a place to live I guess but eventually I got separated from them? Time went on and I was living with a group of other people my age to survive, we lived in this big compound. At the beginning there weren’t a lot of us and we were all close and depended on each other to survive. But as time went on and there were more and more of us and we learned how to stay alive there ended up being different factions of us who were enemies with the other factions, our views on survival conflicted and we were enemies. So one night my group was sleeping outside cuz we were on a journey looking for a new place to live and we stopped for the night, and we saw another warhead fly over us really fast, we thought it was another nuke and it exploded way in the distance but we still felt the huge shockwave. somehow after that I found out that other places in the US/the world weren’t totally destroyed and it was only the DC area, which I thought didn’t seem right but I was able to get in contact with my family, jaymie was in like Illinois and was okay and my parents were somewhere up north but the world actually HAD been destroyed basically there was no electricity or infrastructure or anything anymore. It was like a wasteland basically that nature had reclaimed, sometimes we still would find old buildings to squat in. So the warhead shockwave from earlier had I guess mutated some of us or given us powers, I was able to basically waterbend but now that everyone had powers the different factions were fighting all the time. There were girls I used to be friends with but after the groups split and we got powers we were enemies, we would constantly fight and try to undermine and manipulate each other, or two of us would team up even though we hated each other to try to hurt one of the other girls cuz two against one wins. And we would just keep going with this constantly. Eventually I somehow got thrown 400 years into the future with this girl who looked like one of my ex friends, but it was actually her descendant. The world had been rebuilt and I went around with the girl in shock and so happy to see that there was no more war and fighting and there were buildings and cars and life was back to how it had been before the nukes and the apocalypse, but I eventually got sent back to the present and I was so heartbroken and then I woke up.
