What's your most petty first-world problem?

I dont. The orthoses are ridiculously priced. 800-1200 custom with insurance.

For the shoe fit, I'm usually stuck with buying one pair and stuffing the little guy with a sock - most major companies make me buy two pairs, one fitting each foot.

finish line and payless are the only companies that let me pay one price for two fitting shoes

On days I'm feeling extra rebellious I will swap both fits into one box, because after managing a shoe store, I know 99.8% of employees do not check sizes.

Sue me.

Its a double edge sword.

Apparently the procedure I had back in '91 isn't the most recommended anymore. At age 20, i was developing bone spurs in my bad foot, and decided to consult with my surgeon at CHOP who did the procedure years ago. He stated that was one of the later issues related.

Could more recent treatments have offered something different? Who's to say. I'm just grateful I have two legs I can walk on. So what if one is little, he adds some comedic relief to my character.
