When You Frame a Fair Question in an Unfair Way

Look, the right to vote should be protected. That's what's this conversation is about. That means people who've been released from prison should have the right to vote. They served their time. Setting up goal posts like x can vote after release but y can't will result in a slippery slope. There are so many nonviolent felons who have been incarcerated and it's pretty shitty to say they can't vote because a rapist might be able to too.

Rapists already do vote. There's one in the White House. It's a stupid argument made in bad faith that was made to make Bernie look like he champions the rights of sex offenders.

Also, don't @ me with that I don't speak for all victims bullshit. I never said I did. I said we should be listened to. If people who served their time have rights too. You come off as patronizing about something you never even lived through and I don't have the patience for that shit anymore. I'm not going to be nice to anyone who tries to silence me. I was silent forever. Don't act like you give a shit about what I went through and the. tell me I'm defending people I'm not obviously defending. I don't owe you politeness. I don't want your condolences. I want you to listen.
