When was the moment you realized that your best friend wasn't your best friend?

We talked about living together for university for over 2 years, everything was fixed and set and ready to go. I was happier than ever before in my life and looked forward to probably the best years with my very best friend. In course of the summer leading up to uni start she got back togehter with the guy she had an on/off relationship for multiple years. 6 weeks before uni started she told me we needed to talk: I should look for anothet place since her bf, who was supposed to study in another city, moved in with her. I could stay for the time being but should look for another place to live asap. The 2 months we 3 lived together were horrible, she treated me like shit. We haven't spoken since that and I lost my very best friend I loved more than anyone else. Never dared to think that she would be able to treat me like that since we shared everything and did everything together for the last 6-7 years.
