When was your last “I gotta get the hell out of here” moment?

Once upon a time when I was young, dumb & broke... We used to like to party in hotels. Drink & do dumb teenage shit. Because we were broke we would sometimes stay in cheap motels.

We had our door open & we see what we thought was a prostitute walking by. Normal at a cheap motel right? Well, things got strange.

We received a call on our motel room phone asking if we had makeup for sell or if we could help do makeup.. turns out what we thought was a female prostitute walking by was a man dressed like a woman, who ended up asking us for advice with makeup. I'm not transphobic in the least bit, however this was odd to us all. We told him no & went back to our partying.

The next day, we decided to try and get money for another night so or group of friends was all coming up with ideas. Someone said we should go to that dude's room and try to finesse him out of money lol. So two other girls & myself (all different races & looked nothing alike) decided we were going to say we were sisters & our parents kicked us out and had we no where to stay, so we needed money for another night.

We go to his room & tell him our sob story, he says he would give us $20, invites us in his room, gives us the money and starts telling us his life story. Turns out he has a wife but was living a double life where he'd take her clothes and lingerie and sneak off to motels and become a trans prostitute. He then said, "Can I get dolled up & prance around for you girls? I'll give you more money." The words he used & creepy vibe he gave off did it for us.

We looked at each other and were just like no, that's okay, thanks for the $20 but we gotta go. We get back to our room and tell everyone what happened. The guys we were with said we should of watched & took one for the team.. But uhh no thanks lol.

I'll never forget that experience. Smh.
