Where did all the hate go?

tl;dr Reddit banned /r/fatpeoplehate because: they were posting non-celebrity people's pictures to mock them with enough fervor that sub was hitting the frontpage reliably. In addition they posted the pictures of imgur's staff on their side panel after Imgur started deleting their pictures.

It's always good to have an annual health checkup. For men over 35 having their prostate checked and for both sexes, checking for lumps is always good.

Reddit LLC didn't do any of that for a LONG LONG time and when they finally decided to do something it turned out to be a lot bigger of a problem then they could have imagined.

The announcement Reddit published yesterday spends a lot of time making excuses for why it’s taken them 10 years and countless high-profile harassment cases to finally implement a policy at all. But once you finally do get down to the policy itself, you’re left with this:

The real warning sign should have been with the Saydrah fiasco ( I know this one a bit better because I knew a few people at Associated Content ) - http://reddithistory.wikia.com/wiki/Saydrah

There's been countless other freakouts, witch hunts, and etc but in grand scheme of things /r/fatpeoplehate was posting pictures of non-celebrities with enough fervor that they were basically demanding to be banned.
