Which one deserved better?

Both the Saturn AND the Dreamcast deserved better than what they got. If I had to pick one I’d say the Saturn over the Dreamcast just because of Sega’s legendary mishandling of the console ( the friction between Sega of Japan and Sega of America primarily ) as well as just terrible PR disasters like “The Genesis isn’t dead/The Saturn is not our future” etc. The Sega Saturn had a ton of amazing games on it… In Japan, that never saw the light of day in the west and very well could’ve changed the outcome for the console as well as Sega as a hardware manufacturer in general had the company been more… cohesive in its messaging/leadership/marketing. Such a waste of potential.
