White House press secretary attacks media for accurately reporting inauguration crowds

Yeah, the MLK bust thing was ridiculous and heads should roll for that (pun not really intended).

I reckon if he'd cut off his complaints then not many people who have an issue. Unfortunately following it up with the size debate just ended up sounded incredibly pretty, not to mention factually inaccurate. It's a shame because it's not a tit-for-tat game- call out one lie, replace it without another.

I get he's trying to be authoritarian but that's a tactic that really needs the backing of truth to work effectively - otherwise it's state lie and propaganda. And the worst thing is that crowd size doesn't matter at all- of course Obama would have a bigger crowd- Trump's support in DC was under 5% - it's Democrat territory - plus he lost in the next door states of Maryland and Virginia - so it's no shame in pulling lower numbers in that area.

But the main takeaway is that when the press secretary kicks off his career by attacking the press... he really better have his facts water-tight. Otherwise it's gonna be a bumpy ride...
