WHO calls for abolition of drug criminalization

I don't think it would be that way if there was an official debate on policies, in which citizens could also have their voices heard.

this doesn't happen. the politicians tell us what they will or want to do, and we just sit here sending messages to congressmen that get ignored and laughed at, crossing our fingers we would have yet another big dildo shoved up our asses.

of course it gets relegated to name calling and finger pointing and hatred.

there is an in group and an outgroup, and the in group is unwilling to compromise to bring more people in and its absolutely obvious. they wont even hear out a counter argument -- EVEN if its from within their own ranks.

the economy needs to stop dictating legality. because there is no way for alternative system to become profitable, without first economically devastating the existing system.

existing agents need to adapt to new laws or die out. if they can't survive in the absence of these regulations, they weren't meant to last this long anyways.

how many people go unemployed, how many vast empiric businesses fail matters not. Those people would have MORE employment under the few people who could afford to buy up the infrastructure that supported it piece mail.

there would be actual competition, growth, and true innovation.
