Who ruined your family Christmas this year, and what did they do?

My husband and his family.

7 year old woke up at 6. She and I made cinnamon rolls and let him sleep until 7:30. He still complained about never getting enough sleep when I woke him up. Wish he'd suck it up and be grateful that we let him sleep at all. It just put a damper on the excitement of the morning to hear him whining.

His family isn't very involved with our daughter and most don't even see us for holidays. We're not having any visitors due to covid and they're all being very demanding about when they want to zoom with us. I like to have relaxing family time on Christmas day and I'm spending it scheduling zoom calls with people who only contact us once per year.
