Who's the nicest person you've encountered through life and why?

I guess it would be my grandmother. My father was (And still is) a meth addict, and i guess my mother couldn't handle getting punched in the face all day (Not that i blame her...) So she went to my grandmother one day and asked wich one she wanted to keep, Either me or my brother. My grandmother was already watching me at the time so she decided to keep me and my mother left with my brother. (We're gypsy and don't really deal with courts and stuff so there was no custody battle or anything like that, However my mother is not a gypsy she just took on our lifestyle.)

I never saw my mother or brother again, and could only WISH i could say the same for my father. I'm 26 now and don't really have any friends or family that are worth a damn, i don't see my grandmother anymore as my grandfather who is an evil man disowned me for defending myself when my father one day randomly started a fight with me.

My wife seems to leave me every few months because i am a terrible person... (According only to her while everyone else i know believes she has mental problems, because...i think she really does.)

I have no car or money and have no real will to bother living anymore, but honestly, the only reason i keep living, is because my grandmother is probably the only person i know who truly loves and cares for me, and i don't think i could do that to her. She loves me more than her own children and calls me almost every week just to talk about senile old woman things, but i look forward to those pointless 30 minute conversations. She's almost 80 years old now and is beginning to call me by my fathers name once in a while, i'm kind of scared she's going to pass away within a few years, i really don't know what i'll do when that happens....Probably just get off this shitty planet. cant believe i'm posting this, i havent slept in two days and as usual, i didn't get anything for christmas... except from my grandmother. so goodnight/day to you reddit, sorry for rambling.
