hey man, i think the top comment is a really good call, and so is the therapy. i went through quite a tough time myself (not even close to the pain you’re going through, but still pretty painful) and found a lot of solace in Islam.

I mention it because it encourages a framework for really healthy relationship dynamics when meeting women who follow the text traditionally, and Muslim communities are vibrant with moral, modest women who want to get married to virtuous, ethical, moral men.

I found a lot of respectability in this faith between men and women that I didn’t seem to find anywhere else.
