When I was in first year of high school, my best friend I've known for years and I came up with the genius idea to rate the girls in our class based on appearance on a scale of 1-10. It's an idiot concept but hey, highschoolers gonna highschool. He recommened we write it on paper, and so I did. I was scoring on the basis that

5-average 6-okay 7-above average 8-pretty 9-beautiful 10-dropdead gorgeous

I gave most of them 6s and 7s, a few 8s and 2 9s. Without context you'd think 6 is a bad score while it's actually neutral.

So here's the thing, my friend didn't write anything yet. A girl who I gave a 6 came up, saw the paper, took it (pretty rude to do that now that I think back) and shared it with the rest of the class so naturally it didn't end well for me haha. My friend didn't write anything so he let me take all the blame for the idea alone haha :( we are still great friends but no way I'm getting over that.
