My credit has maxed out twice, the first time I often allowed my then roommate and best friend to order things online for his at home business, as well as transferring money to him from my CC when he would text me saying he needed $20 to take the bus to work/back home or needed to buy cigarettes. I eventually got a job when I moved in with my SO and paid it to $0 and was happily debt free for 3 months.

Quit my job eventually because being a housekeeper at a shitty hotel is unsurprisingly a horrible job, and began leaning on my credit card to purchase food/groceries until it maxed out again.

It's funny because I have this small amount of debt, go through $80/week I get so quickly and usually people who are like this have a bunch of shit to show for it but never buy anything for myself besides food. I haven't bought clothes or games or books in SO long. Literally all my money goes to groceries or randomly eating out. It's ridiculous.

We're moving soon and once we're settled I plan on looking for another job. It was such a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders looking at my bank account and seeing I had paid it all off. Looking at it now just makes me anxious.
