Would you leave a job you generally like for a job paying $70k more? What would your considerations for switching jobs?

Personally, I'd take a pay cut if I could do something I enjoy. I was all in for making as much as possible without ever caring if I enjoyed the work or not. I regret my decisions already and I'm not even old yet. My life is currently just work on the brain 24/7 while actually being in the office 10-12 hours a day and I hate my job.

If I didn't have a mortgage, animals, and girlfriend to support I'd close my shop and go work for someone doing something I actually like instead. I'd be willing to make as little as like 50k a year even. Hopefully sometime next year when we move into the new house I can find a way to cut back.

I'm only 27 years old though, so don't jump in on whatever I'm saying. I'm sure things will change at some point. Just a bit burnt out. If I was being paid that to be an employee where I could shut my brain off after clocking out it might have a different impact on my mental state.
