'I wouldn’t want this for anybody’s daughter': will #MeToo kill off the rock'n'roll groupie?

i am glad that groupies are finally speaking out. its still kinda seen as "cool" to be a groupie but its expected that they will start a business and capitalize on the fame. these women want to feel powerful but not actually try to succeed on their own. so they throw money, connections, and favors at the band guys. I know a few sport, music groupies. it never makes sense to me. sport guys are one thing but musicians use the girls to get things. you cant be a groupie if you cant get money. even if you get a musician from a wealthy family you still have to pay for airplane tickets, hotels, chip in to show you believe. its a lot. if the groupie gets popular the musician will play along to get press and to reward her paying for things. its all about money from what ive seen. cause they guys are usually suave and can get a girlfriend. even the underage groupie families have money. If its just your fantasy to sleep with a band guy, fine, do it on your terms but never get wrapped up or they will drain you dry. just look at youtube. when those couples break up the girls always cry how they bought everything and they still broke up. groupies.
