[WP] An Art teacher decides to go in time and prevent the holocaust by completing one simple objective: teach a young Hitler art skills.

His artwork had improved tremendously over the past few years. His paintings are so realistic, and very upbeat. He's a sweet boy, too, it's hard to believe that the time I come from, he is the definition of evil. I could never imagine Adolf killing all of those jews. Not my Adolf. I had been tutoring Adolf on his painting for about two years now, free of cost. Coming from the future does have it's perks, my full time job is restoring paintings, which I am an expert in, because I have a good 200 year advance in knowledge on how to do it. It's been three years since I came back in time to save Adolf. The moment my wife invented the time machine, I knew what I had to do. And it was almost my time to return home. My biggest concern is that my wife won't know me. Almost anything else can change, I just hope we can start new when I return. She mentioned something about unknown consequences, which I promptly ignored. Adolf brought me a present, to thank me for helping him with his art, and his parent's thanked me for giving him purpose. They never knew that he could be so passionate. I've filled his heart with love, and given him the skill he needs to get into art school. This will surely prevent the Holocaust. It was time to go, I got back into the time machine, and set the date for when I left, when it was last used; but instead of going home, I arrived in a completely white environment, with three hooded men standing around the time machine.

"Please get out of the time machine, Mr. Greeves," the man said.

This isn't home. Something went wrong "Where am I?"

"Please do as we ask," the man asked.

I stepped out of the machine, and my machine disappeared.

"Welcome to Hell. Before we begin, do you know why you were pulled over?" The man began.

"Hell? What do you mean hell? Time travel isn't in the bible as a mortal sin," I sarcastically replied. This must be a joke.

"Time travel isn't the issue. Causing the death of millions of jews, blacks and gays is the issue." the man continued.

This couldn't be right. I didn't do anything. "What the hell is going on here.?"

"Adolf, your art student. Before you, he was going to start a career in medicine, become a doctor, he wanted to save lives. You filled his heart with a passion that he wasn't ready for. You made him yearn to paint. You made him feel that painting was his life." The tone of the man's voice shifted darker, "You surrounded him with Jewish culture, and tried teaching him that he was progressive for not hating blacks or gays."

"What's so wrong with any of that!" At this point I was furious. They're blaming me for Hitler!

"When Hitler was denied art school, his passion turned to rage. He couldn't find you, so he focused his rage on everything you tried teaching him about..."

Before he could continue, I broke down crying. This isn't a joke. They're really blaming me for hitler. But this doesn't look like hell. I'm still so confused.

"When you manipulated time to change events, you indirectly caused the events. You didn't bother to research how he got interested in art. It was a mysterious teacher, with a weird accent." The man paused, looking at me to see if everything was sinking in. "For your crimes against humanity, you will relive every holocaust victim's pain, individually. In most cases, this process doesn't take long, so we have the process looped several times. But due to the nature of this punishment, we're only sentencing you once. Do you have any questions, and do you understand what is about to happen?"

There was no point in fighting, these men were obviously powerful enough to do what they want, so I shook my head to indicate that I understood, and then asked "What happens after I relive the pain of these victims?"

"You'll have to stand here, and explain to your wife why she went to hell for inventing the time machine." the man said, as he removed his hood, revealing his face. "My hell is not finished yet. I have lived the holocaust three times now, and will live it another three now that I've given you your hell. The pain and agony are never dulled. Each experience is felt new."

"Adolf... What will my wife's hell be?" This is almost unbearable, I needed to know she doesn't suffer from my mistake.

"Your wife died, briefly, for five minutes after you disappeared. Her hell is watching this, and knowing everything you did was because of her invention. She was brought back to life, and will live to be 80. She'll live to be 80 with all of these memories, of people talking about how amazing you were, all while knowing you inadvertently caused the holocaust."
