[WP] You've been able to read people's minds for as long as you can remember. For years, you have tried to find out if anyone else has the power of telepathy with no luck at all. One day you hear someone respond.

It was just another job today and he had found himself in a bar tailing some big politician after a long day of whatever Politian's do. The politician then looked down at his phone and his next thought was what caught Jace's attention: "good the funds just came through, the government wouldn't even bat an eye at all those missing funds." It takes a moment to understand a thought but once the victim thinks it, all the details become clear too. They just had to open the door for Jace. This politician was using his position to embezzle funds from the city. "Oh wonderful, my client is going to love this." Right as he had that thought he heard someone else's thought: "jackpot! that's exactly the info I needed!" If Jace had downed a few drinks he would have thought that to be his own thought but no, he was sure that wasn't his. "Wait what?" was another thought that flew by that wasn't his. "What is happening right now?" thought Jace to himself. "This is insane, get out of my head!" this time Jace was focused on it and he could tell it was feminine. There! Jace latched onto those passing thoughts and could understand everything now. Just as he had read the politicians mind he was reading Lily's mind too. Lily was able to read minds just like he could and Jace had a moment of complete surprise before he looked over to her over at the bar but she was already staring at him. Apparently she knew everything about his telepathy too judging by the matching surprised look on her face. Lily quickly snapped herself back to reality. "Outside, NOW!" came Lily's voice in his head. Jace had no idea what to do so he stood up and walked out. What could you do when someone was in your head? "We have got ALOT to talk about" thought Jace to himself as quietly as he could.

He was a very successful informant for his clients. Reading people's minds did pay VERY well. There was never a person who didn't want to know something about another person so people hired him to get information as a "personal investigator". So Jace would waltz up to this person maybe follow them around for a few days until he had what he needed then reported back. The client was always happy and never asked too many questions as to how he got the information. They always thought about one of two things, "ok how much do I need to pay this guy now" or " oh man this is EXACTLY what I needed!" So that's how it went, all his clients knew was that he was good at his job and that was all he needed them to know.
