The reality is, that the stereotype of woman as mothers who don't take careers seriously harms women whether or not that applies to them. That's what a stereotype is.

Yeah, I've seen it over and over again. Why have a technical test. It wasn't even me in that example. I have one guy that got straight up told they were "equal" and they hired her. Another got beat out by a triple minority category and then had to train her to be his boss.
To my experience as you know I'm white and male.
Lets say in my neck of the woods the other category makes up say 15% of the population. They hired 3 people when I applied. I had more education and experience. The person doing the hiring was other female. She hired other female, other male, and white female.
Within her group she had ~85% other. Not even close to matching the population make up.
Don't tell me I don't know what is going. Don't tell me to act my age. Don't call me sexist. The ONLY people I have EVER seen discriminated in hiring practices have been white males.
Maybe you weren't hired because they could tell you were a sexist narcissist.
No I developed my bad attitude later in life after watching how large corps and other places conduct hiring practices.
