1000 Letters: A New Study on Why New Zealander's are Taking Their Lives.

I dunno how I feel about this TBH... its a bit of an ambulance at the bottom of a cliff.

I understand the sentiment and wanting to see if final thoughts can help with prevention. But the causes are very obvious to us all, yet are not solved at the drop of the hat. They take time, structure etc.

Debt, addiction, mental illness, abuse, alcoholism, family dysfunction, stigma, dehumanizing environment. Loss of work.

Sadly sometimes a combination of all.

I am not saying this won't help with conversation and destigmatization.

When you are in your final moments you are very determined to. You will often justify, doubt shift, and reassure, or make no sense ....

This is just speaking from my experience. Yes there is no doubt that these notes are very precious and from the soul.

But for some reason, this doesn't feel like it is going to grow beyond conversation.

So I dunno
