Hey man. The whole 21 year old male virgin thing? Been there, done that. It was actually just earlier this year that I got it over with. I’m not just posting this for you, but several other posters on here in our age group with the exact same story.

You need to put some serious thought into what you want. If you want a hookup to get it over with, you do what you gotta do. At our age, you’re going to have to lower your standards lower than you’d probably like for that. Especially if you don’t have your own place and aren’t in college.

In my area at least, all of the attractive girls our age are either away at college, engaged, married or dating guys in their late 20’s. And none of them I know personally are virgins. Attractive is subjective of course, depending on how honestly attractive you consider yourself. Im not saying it’s impossible, but the clock is ticking. You need to decide what you want, when you want it, and how realistic it is that you’ll get it.

Of course, you could stay a virgin until you started dating a virgin that was your looksmatch. You do, however, need to visualize yourself a few years down the road. Because if waiting is what you decide to do, and you’re not confident that you’ll find what you’re looking for, it is a very real possibility that you will stay a virgin much longer than you can keep your sanity.

I don’t know about you, but the virgin thing was just part of the bigger picture in life for me. The whole “I’m stuck here” and “everybody left me behind” mentality is not a fun place to be. You need to shake that off and get determined.
