If having a family is a future goal and your current boyfriend is the man you want to start a family with and he feels the same way about you, then perhaps it would be best to try and prioritize your relationship. That’s why it’s called “settling down” it’s a conscious decision to prioritize building a family.

On the other hand, if you don’t think your boyfriend is the man you will start a family with and you want to focus building your career, then you should prioritize that and be single. Although it can be done with temporary long distance, reality is, it’s very difficult to balance a serious relationship and chase new job opportunities across the country every couple years. Tbh at your age, I would focus on my career.
