That is most definitely true. Kinda unrelated concept though.

For what it’s worth, I worked at Whole Foods for years beforehand, and it wasn’t any better. I’ve worked with tons of people who’ve worked at Fresh Market as well (and they all talked mad shit about it). I even worked there part time for like a weekend. I say all of this to say, that honestly, there is no such thing as a “high-end” grocery chain without delusional management rifled throughout; for the sane ones, probably would’ve already quit, or killed themselves long ago. It’s all mostly just smoke-&-mirrors/marketing at this point in time (I’d be willing to say, for most, if not all of the major, higher-end, USA-based grocery chains).
