I don't know about you but I generally don't ask about the gender of a person I'm talking to on say, Reddit or Twitter or hell, the comments section of Arstechnica. Which is probably why the dick pic is always so unexpected and unpleasant.

I don't think men and women think very differently.
They think extremely differently. The fact that men send you unsolicited dick pics is an example of that difference in thought.
I think socially, there are more repercussions for women being antisocial then there are men.
This is blatantly false. Men are judged far more harshly for antisocial behaviour. Case in point, men who engage in antisocial behaviour are ridiculed, they are called creepy, and if they do something that can get them sent to court, they would almost certainly receive a harsher sentence than a woman who had done the same thing.
Because that's what unsolicited dick pics are - antisocial behaviour. Much like streaking and flashing in public.
Except that you aren't really forced to look at dick pics. You don't really have much choice if someone flashes you in public, or streaks past you. But if someone sends you pictures online, you don't have to look at them. I believe there are settings for web browsers that allow you to hide all images unless you approve them.
Except since the internet doesn't enforce repercussions for sociopathic behaviour men have decided that dick pics aren't something you should view as badly as public nudity.
I don't think anyone has decided this. Plenty of men think dick pics are socially unacceptable, and count as antisocial behaviour.
Like, literally, unsolicited dick pics are pretty much the equivalent of that creepy dude who drives past women and flashes them his penis so he can get his jollies.
This statement contradicts completely with the idea that there are more repercussions for antisocial behaviour for women. Most people think that that creepy dude who flashes women with his penis is a creep, and is disgusting, and heap tons of repercussions on him. However, if a woman flashes a man, she is far less likely to receive any such treatment, at least from men. In fact, that man is likely to be sent to prison for doing that.
I had a person tell me once how she'd decided to have a one night stand - like literally, all he had to do was like have basic hygiene and not be like immediately identifiable as a weirdo nazi. Then he sent her a dick pic - no warning, they hadn't even met yet. He just sent it. And she described it as like having my period appear complete with cramps, waterfall like bleeding and acne. I had never felt so unturned on in my life.
Another difference in thought between men and women. Men don't react to unsolicited nude pictures of women this way, and probably don't even react to unsolicited dick pics this way.
