"Adrian Peterson is seething and will show the world"

In the midst of making some good points you said some pretty ridiculous things.

but ripping and repairing your ACL makes you worse, not better.

Adrian averages 110 yds/game since having his ACL surgically repaired. Averaged 92 yds/game before that. Averages 5.3 ypa after surgery. Average 4.8 ypa before surgery. While most people do get worse after ACL surgery, AD has gotten verifiably better.

The running back cliff is upon him. One running back in history was relevant past age 30.

No.

But I'm not betting on it, especially with his injury history and a year gaining rust.

We've already covered how he is better since his ACL injury. Regarding his other injury history, most of his missed games are just maintenance related. He's not out any more than any other RB. As for "gaining rust," you can think of it as just a year off without any wear and tear. You saw how he worked to get back from his ACL injury. He's not one to sit idly even if he's not playing. He'll come back healthier than ever and Blue has made it abundantly clear that he's been working hard.

But my perception is that he won't be top5 RB this year.

This is silly. He is the best RB in the league and it's not even close. He might not lead the NFL in rushing (I think he will), but he will certainly be in the top 5.

If he goes to Dallas, he might get 2000 yards 3 yards at a time.

He averages 5.0 ypa on his career. You really think he'd average 3 ypa running behind the best line in the NFL? I think amongst the silly things you've said, this is the most egregious. Many people consider Barry Sanders the best RB to ever play. Would you like to take a guess as to how many yards he average per carry?

You don't have to think he'll break the single season rushing record, but Adrian Peterson is one of, if not the greatest running backs to ever play professional football. You're not giving him enough credit.
