You are a complete asshole.

You don't "own" a major because you are intimidated by your partner's intelligence.

Furthermore, undergraduate psychology degrees are useless. And they are about as meaningful and related to graduate work in psychology as secretarial school certificates are.

If you are talking about doctoral programs in clinical psychology, you are seriously uninformed. These programs are the most competitive of any academic school, second only to veterinary medicine. And if you are pursuing research, you need to have completed a great deal of experience and have interest in a similar area as faculty have in the programs you are applying to.

Furthermore, these schools are looking for students who demonstrate maturity, self awareness, authenticity and experience in the world.

They are not looking for groupies.

Do yourself a favor and take a few years before you apply to graduate school. Otherwise you won't make it past the application stage.
