Hitler is probably worse, because what he did was out of political/religious reasons - but I don't know Dave and what his intentions were. If he's a SJW who murdered a white heterosexual man, or if he is a KKK member who murdered his black neighbour, in either case to make a point, then yes, they are equally bad and despicable.

If Dave however murdered someone because of personal reasons (for example because they raped his mother) it's still absolutely wrong, but relateable.

But I do think what the Americans did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki is equally bad to what Hitler did, what Stalin did and what the IS and supporters do, and what the CHinese Leader (who's name I forgot) did. They all search/ed for reasons to murder people they don't like.
